We really enjoyed the week we spent at Castex apartment. We had no complain whatsoever regarding the apartment itself: clean, pretty well furnished, enough dishes and cutlery and sufficient cooking equipment to let us try our hand to prepare ourselves some of the very nice food we found in the nearby markets. The location could not be better! In the middle of everything (a short walk to at least three boulangeries before breakfast and you can have the nicest croissant with your coffee), 20 minutes walk to the Louvre, 10 minutes walk to the Seine, 5 minutes walk to the Place des Vosges. We almost never used public transit!   We are planning to return to Paris (one week stay was way too short) and we hope that the Castex will be available.  We recommend it with no reservations.

We very much enjoyed our stay in the apartment at Rue Castex. The location could not have been better. We were just a few blocks from the Metro station at La Bastille, and just a few steps away from a bus stop. We could easily walk to the Ile St. Louis and stroll through the beautiful streets of the Marais. There were several very good restaurants close by, and we enjoyed bringing in foods for breakfast and some lunches. The apartment was well-equipped and comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Castex apartment. Both bedrooms were very comfortable and roomy, and the beds very cosy. The shower facilities were perfect. We didnt cook but the cooking facilities were perfectly adequate. The location of the apartment was perfect, just off Rue St Antoine leading to La Place de LA Bastille where there was a fabulous outdoor food market at the weekend. Recommend you visit the Pompidou Centre nearby to experience the view from the top floor. Thank you to Laurent for greeting us.

We stayed in the Castex apartment for a long time. We got stuck in Paris because of the Iceland volcano. Laurent was absolutely exceptional,  an amazing and kind host when we stayed. No question - if you're looking for an apartment in Paris, go with them! Castex was a lovely 2-bedroom apartment, perfect for our stay, with a luxurious bath/shower and great, big, comfortable beds. The apartment and its location were worth that one caveat.

We had a most enjoyable stay in apartment CASTEX. Being located in a quiet courtyard we never had a problem sleeping. Situated on the top/first floor there is an abundance of natural light in all the rooms. The apartment is fashionably and comfortably furnished in a modern style from a recent renovation.   Although the busy Place de la Bastille provides the closest Metro, we much preferred the stroll down Boulevarde Henri IV towards the Seine to reach the Sully-Morland Metro, or to continue on foot onto Ile St Louis and through to Ile de la Cite.   We had many delicious meals in bistros and restaurants in the surrounding streets. A short walk along rue Castex (past the Post Office) takes one to the lively rue St Antoine, thence Place des Vosges and on to the Marais with its boutiques.
