Thank you for letting us stay in your Mister Prince apartment. The
apartment was lovely with a modern bathroom and kitchen and very
convenient to the metro. Next time we will pack lighter, however, as
the stairs are quite steep. You were so helpful with all our questions.

Firstly I would like to say that our experience renting an apartment in
Europe through Paris Best Lodge was very positive and worry free. We
enjoyed our contact with PBL throughout the process. They made
everything very easy. They were prompt, patient and friendly, always
answering our questions. We would not hesitate to recommend them and as
a matter of fact we have done so already. We stayed in Mr.
Prince apartment in St. Germain des Pres. I fell in love with the
apartment and the area. The apartment is just what you see in the
pictures. The room was romantic and had a Parisian feel to it with
lovely desk and dresser, beautiful pale green and gold brocade
draperies and white walls with out a mark on them. The room was very
clean and a very nice size when you folded up the bed during the day.
It gave you the feeling of a real apartment rather than just a bedroom.
Although the kitchen is tiny it was well equipped and perfect for our
needs. It had a door to it so you could close it off from the living
space. It had a window which was a bonus for the extra light and cross
breeze. It also had an oven which we used daily to crisp up our
baguettes to munch on with wine and cheese on the lovely little balcony
overlooking the rooftops. I was very happy in that apartment. The sofa
bed was much better than most. I was fine with it but my husband didn't
like the feel of it but managed ok anyway. That said, I loved that we
could fold the bed up during the day into a very nice couch. There were
nice touches aside from what the web site describes about the
apartment. There were a number of travel books on the bookcase. Even
though we brought our own there were others we didn't have so aquired
additional information. To get to the apartment you walk up 84 narrow
stairs which is a challenge with a suitcase and at the end of the day
after walking miles taking in the sights but we had fun with it and saw
it as an opportunity for exercise. Not everyone would. One hint...when
locking the door you need to shut it hard. The location of Mr. Prince
is wonderful with a little grocer across the street and many cafes,
gourmet take out shops, fresh vegetable shops and bakeries very close
by. You are only two blocks from the River Seine and with in walking
distance to many sights and transportation. I hope to go back. It
was a wonderful experience.

Just got home from a great stay at
Mr. Prince apartment. Location was terrific, you can walk everywhere
and the Metro is also very close. Nice apartment and the balcony was a
plus. Having a washer/dryer and internet access was great. The steps to
the apartment could be a challenge with your suitcases, if you have
walking difficulties. However, we viewed it as a good way to burn off
some of the calories from all the good meals we ate. We would
definitely rent again from Parisbestlodge.

We stayed recently at the Princess on Rue Mazerine. A great location
and very comfortable. The balcony is a real plus and nice place to
enjoy a coffee or meal. For a pull out, the bed is very comfortable and
there were no concerns. Having the internet was convenient as we could
keep in touch with our kids back home. There are great shops and a full
grocery store steps away. We’d stay there again in a
heartbeat!

Dear PBL, my recent stay at the apartment in St. Germain des Pres was
fantastic. The apartment was perfect and you are very professional and easy to
deal with. This is the second apartment I have rented from you and will not be
the last! I will post a review of my experience on your website and recommend
you to anyone wanting to visit Paris.
Thanks again.

We absolutely LOVED the apartment MISTER PRINCE. We cooked in the kitchen almost every morning and enjoyed our breakfast
out on the balcony. All the amenities of the apartment worked great! The
location ended up being perfect as we were within very close distance of many of
the sights we wanted to see and places we wanted to eat (Eric kayser, grom,
gerard moulot, Pierre marcolini). We often talk very fondly of our stay in the
apartment. As I write this, I have been sleeping on a sofa bed at my
grandmother's for a week and TRUST me the bed in the apartment in Paris did not
resemble a sofa bed in any way, and that's a good thing. My back is longing for
that sofa bed right now instead of the one I have been sleeping on this week.
The sofa bed in Paris was very comfortable and felt just the same as a comfy
regular bed. We left it out the whole week and still had plenty of room in the
apartment. We were more than pleased with our accommodations, really they were
just perfect for our trip.

Mister Prince apartment is lovely. The apartment is very nicely
appointed and we lacked for nothing (other than energy to walk up too
many times a day so tended to stay out all day long :-). The bed
was VERY comfortable for a pull out bed and we often forgot that it was
a pull out. Jim, my husband, has back problems but they certainly
were NOT exacerbated by the sofa bed. We had an absolutely lovely
stay in Paris; your apartment was one of the special parts of our stay.
Thank you for being attentive to our needs; it was much appreciated.
Warm regards, Elaine

I can't tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at Mister Prince. The location is
superb, with the Metro and so many sights and restaurants within a couple of
blocks. Every night, we took a walk along the Seine after dinner. And every
morning I went to one of the pastry shops down the block, and brought back twice
as much fresh pastry as we should have eaten, because we enjoyed breakfast on
the balcony so much. I also appreciated the convenience of having a grocery just
across the street. Frankly, though, it's the balcony that makes the
apartment really special, because it is the Paris experience that most of us
imagine but few ever have. Thank you.

We could have not have asked for a
more perfect stay in Paris. The apartment is located in a great
neighborhood and in a great location. So many nice local restaurants
and cafes just steps outside our door made us really feel like we were
a part of Saint-Germain. We especially loved our morning coffee on the
balcony, and enjoyed even more our evenings outside with a glass of
wine as the sun set. It was so nice to come home every night to our own
home in Paris. Thanks again for all your help. We hope to have the
chance to come back. Courtney and Joe.

My wife, Ellen, and I stayed at the
Mister Prince apartment the last week of May, 2010. We were in Paris
for vacation and the apartment was the perfect place for us to stay. It
is in the middle of a lively neighborhood, with clubs, cafes and
galleries, but situated high enough above the street so as to be quiet,
even on the weekend. From the apartment it's a short walk to Place St.
Michelle with it's bookstores, movie theaters, boutiques, and Metro
station. The apartment is also just a few blocks south of the Seine and
Notre Dame.
The apartment itself was delightful.
The bathroom and kitchen are tiny but fully functional, with good water
pressure in the shower and all the pans, dishes, and dinnerware we
needed in the kitchen. The bathroom has one other handy feature, a
small washer/dryer so, even though we only brought a backpack apiece,
we were able to have clean clothes all week.
The outstanding features of the
apartment are the bed and the terrace. The bed folds out from the sofa
but it's not like any foldout I've ever seen. It's a real bed with a
thick, comfortable mattress. We slept very well. Ellen asked the owner
how they got the bed up the narrow, winding staircase. He just shook
his head and said it was quite a feat. The terrace is decorated with
flowers and has a small table and chairs where we sat and enjoyed
morning coffee and evening cocktails. It affords a view of classic
Parisian rooftops and, in the evening, the revelers in the street below.
Speaking of the owner, our host
brought us supplies on our arrival and gave us tips about the
neighborhood, such as the fact that there is a market directly across
the street (which supplied us with fresh bread, great cheeses, and
plenty of wine). It was also a comfort to know that, if a problem
should arise, PBL was just a phone call away.
Mister Prince was, as I have said, the
perfect place for us to stay. I should mention that travelers who have
difficulty walking would have a problem with the stairs and there isn't
an elevator in the building. With that exception, I give the Mister
Prince apartment my full endorsement. Thank you!
