We recently stayed at the Apartment Soleil Rosiers for a week. It was our first time renting an apartment anywhere and Thierry and Pascal could not have made our experience any better! They were both great to work with from the beginning as far as booking the apartment, and up until we checked out. My fiance left his cell phone by accident and Pascal notified us immediately and offered to mail it. We went back to Paris a few weeks later and Pascal took it to us at another of Thierry's apartments. We appreciated everything he did for us! Pascal's apartment was beautiful. It was comfortable and had everything we needed, from the wonderful washer/dryer, to the fridge and the fast internet! Not to mention we were able to make free phone calls home. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone! We will definitely be contacting Parisbestlodge on our next visit!

We spent a wonderful week in the Soleil apartment. The apartment was beautifully decorated, the kitchen was well-appointed, and we appreciated the small touches, like Pascal's restaurant recommendations. Paris can be a noisy city, but since the apartment faces the courtyard, it was very quiet. Everything went smoothly, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay in one of Pascal's apartments again.

We stayed in the Elegance and Soleil appartments, and had the most wonderful time. The owner, Pascal, is a really welcoming host and put lots of thought into the tiniest details that add so much to your stay. The appartments were extremely comfortable, clean, quiet, with tasteful decoration. The area of Paris is really atmospheric and fun to explore all the charming small streets of Le Marais. We are already booking to return!

Thierry, I am quite belated in sending this but wanted to tell you what a great stay I had in Apartment Soleil Rosiers. Pascal could not have been more welcoming and helpful, and the apartment itself was exactly perfect down to every detail. The location was outstanding and exactly where I have always wanted to stay in the Marais! I have rented apartments in Paris several times over the past few years and you are now my go to guy when I come back!

The Soleil apartment is wonderful. My husband and I stayed for over a week. The apartment is true to the pictures. Pascal, the owner, was warm, welcoming and honest. The internet worked beautifully. As did the washer/dryer. The apartment is North facing, opposite a courtyard and other apartments, but was still quite sunny. The deposit was promptly returned to us after we left the apartment. I have no complaints at all, and would definitely stay again in one of Pascal or Thierry's apartments without hesitation. I found this to be far, far better than a hotel!! You also really can't beat the location. The Jewish bakery right next door has amazing country bread. I walked every day to Berthillon for sorbet. I highly recommend this to anyone at all!!

It has been an amazing experiencing staying in Paris, especially at Pascal's Soleil at Marais. The apartment is new and we love the decorations and finishing that is quite high class. Everything we need from an apartment, Pascal has it all nicely fit into this compact apartment, and yet it still feel quite roomy after all. I will highly consider this when I come back for my next Paris visit.

My wife & I stayed at Apartment Soleil Rosiers in May/June,2010 for 10 days. It was a highlight of our stay. (really the apartment was the best!) The owner, Pascal, was there to meet us when we arrived, helped us with our luggage and showed us the apartment (how to use the washer/dryer, dishwasher, locks, etc). He was very personal and offered great suggestions on places to grocery shop, eat and how to get around town. (BTW - from the airport take the RER/Metro or a Taxi, don't use a van service unless you are alone.
The way the finances for deposit/paying for the apartment was handled appropriately. There is a level of trust on both sides and it was well placed in Thierry and Pascal.
The pictures are exactly what the apartment looks like. It was VERY clean and secure. There are 3 locked doors (and 66 steps up) between you and outside. There is no elevator, the only down side.
The neighborhood is safe, friendly and no tourists (other than us). We were very close to the Metro and would walk to the Louvre and Notre Dame. The apartment is in a Jewish (many falafel stands) and gay neighborhood. Very close to Picasso Museum, but it was closed for renovations. Again, even late at night we felt secure. (Got to try the gelato).
The extras of the apartment: a computer...we could stay in touch with our family/friends. It is a MAC, but allowed us to upload pics of our trip and check email. Worldwide phone calls, it was great to be able to call the USA and visit and let people know we arrived and just share our experiences. We couldn't check our messages since the automated operator was in french - but no problem for us, we mainly used email. The cable TV is mostly in French, but it was nice to have a few news channels in English. The apartment did have Wifi- but we didn't have a laptop. The Washer Dryer was great to have - we didn't need to go to a laundry. It washes and dries (we recommend the 30 min wash cycle - do all your washing - then do all your drying).
There is another apartment right next door and if you have 2 couples or 6 people they could share both and it looks just like the pictures.
Pascal did check in on us during our stay to make sure all is well, and that was nice. We had his cell number and could call him anytime. He provided towels/bedding/trash bags/laundry & dish washing soap/ condiments/plates/cups - everything except the food. We didn't cook, but for snacks and a quick sandwich it was great to have a fridge and cool water.
As he said, he considered the apartment ours while we are there and he genuinely wanted us to have a great time and not have to worry about our housing. He respects your privacy.
There are no complaints, we did have to stay our last 2 days in Paris in a hotel down the street (the apartment was already booked before we made our reservations). We missed the apartment those last two days. We love Paris and our experience was great and it was because we had a great place to stay!
This is a FIND!!! We recommend to everyone - stay in an apartment and stay HERE!

My stay in Pascal's apartment was delightful. I always looked forward to coming "home" after a long day of sightseeing. The birds singing in the courtyard, the quiet ambiance of the apartment and the use of a stove to cook my dinner always helped soothe me and ground me after navigating the streets and sights of Paris. Pascal was a perfect host and always available to help with loose ends: printing a ticket, giving me a sewing kit and sharing his extensive knowledge of the city. I highly recommend this wonderful apartment in one of the most charming neighborhoods in Paris... and all for a very reasonable price.

We stayed at Le Soleil in le Marais and could not have hoped for a better experience. The area is perfect, the studio is lovely - everything is new and perfectly clean - and Pascal, the owner, is a wonderful host. I don't want the secret of this beautiful place to get out, but I couldn't keep my praise for Pascal and his apartment to myself. We would definitely stay there again and send all our friends and family there as well.
